THE MIKE’S STORY

I DIDN’T KNOW IF THE DOORS WOULD EVER OPEN.

In the summer of 2025, Mike’s Hot Chicken wasn’t a restaurant.

There was no packed kitchen. No line at the door. No smell of chicken hitting the fryer. No customers waiting for their food.

There was just an idea.

A small project that I honestly wasn’t sure would ever become real.

But I decided to take the chance anyway.

What happened next was bigger than I could have imagined.

That little idea became a kitchen. The kitchen became a restaurant. And that restaurant quickly became something far beyond food.

People started showing up.

Then they started coming back.

They brought their families. They told their friends. They shared our food. They supported us. And suddenly, the thing I wasn't even sure I could open had people walking through the doors every day.

That’s how Mike’s Hot Chicken began.
